Diploma in IT

Introduction
The Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) is offering a full time study for those who wish to have a basic fundamental knowledge in IT perspectives. All students will attend a common core programme focusing on the fundamentals required for IT applications which include managing information systems, multimedia applications as well as programming.
The aim of the program is to produce graduates with the competitive knowledge, principles and skills in terms of theoretical and practical foundation for a career in information technology field entering at the middle level. The graduates will be armed with adequate skills that would allow them to advance their careers into profession in computing.

Programme Details
Required credit hour to graduate: 92 credit hours
Method of instruction: Lectures, tutorials, lab applications, exercises and etc.

Assessment
The students is assessed by different type of assessment according to the course. The assessment can be quiz, assignment, presentation, lab test and final examination.

Entry Requirements
A Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or O Level / equivalent with a minimum of 3 credits (in any subject) inclusive of Mathematics or a Pass in certificate programme from recognized institution.
