Diploma in Multimedia and Animation

Introduction
The Diploma in Multimedia with Animation (DMA) is a programme that is developed to meet the growing demand of multimedia and animation industry locally and globally. The programme focuses on the development of individual skills and creativity in creating engaging multimedia applications and animation. Students undertaking this programme will be exposed to skills in drawing, creating multimedia application for various purposes and also 2D and 3D animation.

Programme Details
Required credit hour to graduate: 92 credit hours
Method of instruction: Lectures, tutorials, collaborative learning, lab applications, exercises, industrial training and etc.

Assessment
Assessment differs according to courses. Most courses are evaluated based on course assessment and final exam. Practices of course assessment are Exhibition and Portfolio Show, Project Presentation, Progression Review, Class Activity, Quiz, Case Study, etc.

Entry Requirements
A Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or O Level / equivalent with a minimum of 3 credits (in any subject) and pass in Pendidikan Seni (Arts) or a Pass in certificate programme from recognized institution.
(** For students who do not have any qualification in Arts, need to pass a brief interview or basic drawing test or Portfolio Review.)
