Diploma in Office Management and Secretarialship

Introduction
The Diploma in Office Management and Secretaryship (DMS) lays down fundamental principles designed to equip students with the essentials of effective office management and administration. It provides key skills and knowledge transferable to any management position, understanding of how to improve workplace efficiency and increase job satisfaction. Apart from that, this diploma programme will equip adequate competencies and ability so that graduates from this programme will become an important asset in the workplace and driver of productivity in the office. DMS is a unique programme that brings together technical and managerial perspectives of office systems. Furthermore, IIC is the first college to offer a combination of office management and secretaryship. Thus, applicants should not miss the opportunity to be the first to acquire this diploma.

Career Prospects
Career prospects for graduates of DMS are quite flexible. Upon completion of this programme, students should have acquired skills in management, administration and technical skills to assist in managing an office effectively. They have great opportunities to work as Office Administrator, Executive, Secretary or Personal Assistant.

Programme Details
A student has to acquire 92 credit hours to complete this programme.

Assessment
The students is assessed by different type of assessment according to the course. The assessment can be quiz, assignment, presentation and final examination.

Entry Requirements
A Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or O Level / equivalent with a minimum of 3 credits (in any subject) and pass in English, OR; A Pass in certificate programme from recognized institution.
